Academically, we are located within the Pathology Department of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. BIDMC is an academic medical center affiliated with and adjacent to Harvard Medical School. Physically, we are located in the recently constructed, LEED-certified, Center for Life Science Building, 3 Blackfan Circle, Boston MA. Notably, the CLS Building was the first high-rise laboratory building to receive LEED-Gold Level Certification in the United States. There is ample natural lighting. It is a beautiful, modern and functional space. The department and institution are highly collaborative and maintain outstanding core facilities that support our research efforts.
Our high throughput screening work is performed at the ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility located conveniently around the corner from us. The facility provides state of the art robotics and an extensive array of small molecule screening libraries that support our high throughput, small molecule drug discovery efforts.
Lab members have access to resources available at Harvard Medical School and BIDMC including an extensive collection of online journals, the Harvard Medical School Countway Medical Library, and software packages relevant to our research efforts.
