"Removing Obstacles for Bringing AST for New Antimicrobials in the Clinical Laboratory", July 20, 2020, noon-1 p.m. and afterwards on-demand to all ASM members.
What a nice thing to make available to all ASM membership whether they had planned to attend ASM Microbe this summer or not.
Wow, there are a lot of changes.
KP Smith's last official day is tomorrow. We will miss him. He is moving on as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at UPenn Med.
Kat Truelson, formerly an undergraduate research student in the lab, will be rejoining us as a research associate at the end of the summer. This follows two years working in Howard Shuman's laboratory at the University of Chicago studying Legionella and Acinetobacter.
Guy Shani, a soon to be senior at the University of Oxford, will be joining the laboratory for a two month stint as a summer student, shifted towards a later time than we had original envisioned because of COVID travel restrictions.
